Dr. Doug Booth has 30 years experience in providing Psychological services. He has served as a Psychologist at VA Medical Centers in Texas, Tennessee and Alabama working with Substance Abuse, PTSD, and stress related medical conditions.
Dr. Booth has been the Clinical Director for the Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Programs at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System for the past 10 years. He serves on the Hospice Team, the Acute Rehab Team, and has served as the Interim Coordinator for the Polytrauma/TBI Program at CAVHCS for the past two years.
Dr. Booth has been involved in private practice at Clinical Psychologists, P.C., since 2006. He serves university students and general adult populations. His experiences include individual and couples therapy, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and depression. He is identified on several mental health panels including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, American Behavioral and others.
Dr. Booth is currently available for evening hour appointments.
