Jennifer Gillis Mattson joined Clinical Psychologists, P.C. in 2011. She is a licensed psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Jennifer moved to Auburn in 2006 from Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the State University of New York at Binghamton (Binghamton University) where she completed both child and adult training. Jennifer completed her clinical psychology internship training program at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she specialized in Child Clinical Psychology.

Jennifer’s primary clinical interests are in the areas of child assessment and the treatment of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety disorders, and behavior problems. She also provides individual therapy for adults with an ASD as well as for family members of individuals with an ASD.

Jennifer is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Auburn University. Jennifer maintains an active research program in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders and teaches courses to undergraduate students as well as to graduate students in both the doctoral training program in Clinical Psychology and the Applied Behavior Analysis program. She provides supervision and training to doctoral students through the Auburn University Psychological Services Center.
